A Bowl of Cherries

I was making dinner tonight, when I looked out the kitchen window and realized it was getting darker earlier. It gave me pause to think about how quickly summer came and went. Even though we are enduring a heat wave in Southern California, the days are getting shorter. One of the great pleasures of summer is the deep red cherries. With summer leaving, the cherries will be gone too so I will have to make some fragrant substitutions at home. I have been using our Tahitian Vanilla three in one, but I will quickly switch it out for Cherry Vanilla. The Cherries soap we produce is so sweet and delicious; I will have to grab a bar and swap out the geranium that is in my bathroom so I can savor a small slice of those sweet summer days. With the fall season approaching, candles create a warm glow, so my first pick for the season will be our decadent Cherry Vanilla Color Bowl, just to hold on to the dwindling days of my favorite summer treat.

Have a Good Week

Autumn Leaves

Summer in Southern California can go well into October, but this weekend was actually sweater weather. The days were beautiful and warm but as soon as the sun went away, the fog began to roll in and there was a distinct chill in the air. It took me by surprise since we have been experiencing warmer than normal days this summer. I started to think about how quickly fall would really be here and which soaps I would be changing out in my bathroom. I love the smell of our Autumn Leaves Soap. It has a rich, warm subtly nutty aroma; like roasted chestnuts. The colors are a palette of autumn hues. So if you are in the mood to say farewell to summer and embrace the cooler days of fall ahead, try a bar of our Autumn Leaves Soap to push that feeling along.

Have a good week,
